In for Questioning - going beyond "just the facts, ma'am." IFQ is a weekly podcast about crime fiction - the people who write it, read it, review it, publish mags and generally dig the darker side of mystery.

Digging up the corpse of old time radio and putting a funny hat on it, Coyote Radio Theater has spun their outrageous stories of life in rural Northern Arizona since 1997.

Stories often showcasing the odd inhabitants of Crest Top (pronounced "Cress Tup.") Any similarities between this comic creation and any other locality are, of course, complete coincidence.

Featuring Voice Actors Angie Johnson-Schmit, Pam Martin, Greg Fine, Sean Jeralds and Christian Smith - Comic Genius; Foley Artists Tiffany Boehle and Kate McEwen; Recorded by Todd Skaggs from Studio 444; Directed by Andrew Johnson-Schmit

From the stage door to your door, reporters working the Prescott Arts Beat bring back the Big Stories: what's the new show at Prescott Fine Arts Association? Who saw what ghost in the Elks Opera House balcony? Can any more white tents possibly be stuffed on the Courthouse Square lawn during an art show?

That's right, big questions in a little town. You may read the Daily Courier. You may listen to other broadcasts. But you will not find any news source more focused on Yavapai County arts and culture than PAB.

Heard over the airways on KJZA (89.5FM) Sundays at noon. If you or someone you know wouldlike to appear on this show, simply email us at our cyber newsroom. Taped Saturdays in Coyote Radio's Studio A in The Raven Cafe building, 142 N. Cortez Street.

Every year the creme de le creme of slam poets gathers at Arcosanti - the City of the Future, near Cordes Junction.

Normally sedate, well-mannered citizens turn into verse-slinging demi-goddesses throwing down with mad-hot verbage as they square off against motorcyle poets, native tongues, weekend scribners, angel-headed hipsters and only one team - representing one locality in this state will walk away with the annually-remelted Slab City Slam trophy.

Can't make it there on May 25-27? Here's the next best thing: the 2006 Slab City Slam, live and in your earphones!
